Barracas is a shaded courtyard. Tired owners struggling to make grass grow commissioned us to solve this garden problem with a floor work.
We created two floor “tags” that solved the different actions: to be/rest under the paradise tree; and to barbecue. We then included a third tag being the existent flooring.
A flowerbed of shade species frames and contains these tags, delimitating a sequence of 3 spaces with differentiated features and uses.
Moreover, construction and equipment details were specifically and uniquely designed for this project.
